This trip lasted 12 months and 12 days. Mentally it was a more grueling than it appears because even though there were two times where I stayed about a month in one place, I never knew beforehand. In the Philippines I paid for my room every morning and in Denmark I was looking at the last minute flight offers on the internet every night. Itīs a very big difference if you know in advance if you are staying, and not just because you never unpack.
